Properties Alkaline plant-based cleaner for effective cleaning (washing) of oiled wooden terraces and wood-plastic composites (WPC). - Concentrate. 50–250 ml TerraceClean per 10 l of water. - Recommended for care and intensive cleaning. - Economical, biodegradable. - For outdoor use. Surface preparation
Remove dust and dirt from the terrace surface (sweep the terrace). TerraceClean removes dirt, as well as moss, lichen and other microflora contamination. If the surface is very heavily covered with microflora, we recommend using Biotol or Biotol Spray to remove it first. Before applying TerraceClean, we recommend wetting the surface with water.
Application
Mix the product. Depending on the degree of surface contamination, mix 50–250 ml of TerraceClean with 10 l of water. For deep cleaning, to remove old oil coating, use a more concentrated solution of the product (1:5–1:10).
Apply the solution to the surface with a mop or cloth and rinse with water after a short exposure (approximately 10 minutes). During cleaning, the TerraceClean detergent solution should not dry on the treated surface. However, if it does dry, it is necessary to add more TerraceClean detergent solution to the dry areas.
In case of processing (cleaning) of corrugated boards or heavy contamination, treat the surface with a brush. If necessary, repeat the cleaning process. The required air and surface temperature for using TerraceClean and for drying the surface after washing is +8–30 °C (recommended temperature +18±2 °C), relative humidity <80%. Rinse off detergent residues with clean water.
Caution. Do not use pressure washing. If the concentration of the detergent is too high or the exposure time is too long, the oil may be washed out of the surface. Do not clean incompletely hardened oil coatings.
If the pile on the wood surface has risen after processing, sand it with sandpaper No. 100-150.
Working tools
Low-pressure sprayer (e.g. garden sprayer), brush, mop.
Cleaning tools
After finishing work, rinse immediately with water.
Potassium salts of vegetable fatty acids (palmitic, oleic, linoleic, etc.). Up to 25% soap.
Precautions
Follow safety precautions. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye/face protection.
Caution! Causes serious eye irritation. Contains a mixture of 2-methyl-5-chloro-(2H)-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-(2H)-isothiazol-3-one. May cause an allergic reaction. If medical advice is needed: have product container or label at hand. Keep out of the reach of children. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. In case of eye contact: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: seek medical advice. Disposal
Do not empty into drains. Avoid release into the environment. Take unused product to a collection point for recycling or further use or hand it over to waste disposal companies. The continued use of the product effectively minimises the environmental impact of the product. Dry product residues can be disposed of as normal waste. Take clean, dry packaging to a collection and recycling point for packaging. Information on collection points and waste disposal companies can be obtained from local authorities.
