CLASSIFICATION ACCORDING TO STANDARD DSTU EN 1062-1:2012 EN 1062-1:2004 | G3 | E2 | S1 | V2 | W2 | A0 | С0. Purpose For painting mineral surfaces (previously painted with water-dispersion paints or new) outdoors. Indoors recommended for painting walls and ceilings. Types of surfaces for painting Types of surfaces for outdoor use: concrete, plaster, putty, cement-fiber boards, silicate bricks, acrylic and cement decorative plasters, facade thermal insulation systems, structural paints. Do not use in facade thermal insulation systems based on mineral wool, as well as for horizontal surfaces exposed to water. Types of surfaces for indoor use: mineral surfaces, gypsum plasterboard, wallpaper for painting, fiberboard, chipboard, etc., as well as surfaces previously painted with alkyd (or oil) enamels.
DSTU EN 1062-1:2012
Interior work: 170–250 g/m² (6–9 m²/l) per coat.
Paint consumption depends on the type and preparation of the surface, as well as the tool.
Surface preparation before painting
The base must be dry, free from dust, grease stains, efflorescence and other contaminants. Clean heavily soiled surfaces with a 3–5% solution of baking soda, rinse with water and dry. Remove chalk whitewash. Clean areas affected by mold (fungus) mechanically and treat with Eskaro Biotol or Aura Antiskimmel anti-mold agent. Level out irregularities, potholes and cracks on the surface with an appropriate putty. To obtain a high-quality and durable coating, strengthen the surface and level its absorbency (to avoid stains), treat the surface with a water-dispersion acrylic primer TM AURA or TM Eskaro. Surfaces painted with oil and alkyd paints should be treated with sandpaper and dust removed. If applying over old paint during restoration work, check the compatibility of the coatings. At least 3 weeks should elapse between the application of a fresh cement plaster layer (including cement-based plasters such as "lamb" and "bark beetle") and painting.
Application
Mix the paint to a uniform consistency. Apply with a roller, brush or spray gun (including airless) in at least 2 layers at a temperature of the paint, ambient air and base of not less than +5ºС and not more than +30ºС. For the first layer, it is recommended to dilute the paint with a maximum of 5% water. Apply the second layer of paint without dilution. To paint large surfaces with tinted paint, it is necessary to first mix the required amount of paint in one container. It is forbidden to paint facades in direct sunlight, during rain, fog and frost. The coating acquires its final color after the paint dries.
Caring for the painted surface
For 3-4 weeks after application, until the paint has reached its final hardness and wear resistance, handle the surface with care. Use soft sponges and cloths for cleaning. Strong friction can make the surface glossy. For cleaning, we recommend using water, neutral and medium alkaline detergents (pH up to 9). Do not use organic solvents, abrasive cleaners, or hard sponges or brushes. To remove mold, use Biotol or Aura Antiskimmel.
Working tools
Brush, roller, sprayer.
Cleaning tools
Wash with soap and water immediately after use. Dried paint can be cleaned mechanically.
Copolymer acrylic dispersion, pigment - titanium dioxide, fillers, water, functional additives. UA VOC limit value for this product (cat. A/1): 30 g/l. This product contains max 30 g/l VOC.
Apply the second layer of paint only after the first one has completely dried - the painted surface should be uniform in color.
Precautions
During work, follow general occupational hygiene rules. Work in a ventilated area, wear work clothes, gloves. Keep out of reach of children. If in eyes, rinse with water. The paint is fire and explosion-proof.
