Surface preparation
The surface to be painted must be dry and solid. Completely remove chalky whitewash.
Unpainted surfaces: clean the surface from loose and flaking material, dirt and dust. Level out irregularities, cracks and potholes with acrylic putty. To obtain a high-quality and durable coating, as well as to level out the absorbency, it is recommended to prime the base to be painted with an appropriate water-dispersion primer TM Eskaro or TM Aura. At least 3 weeks should elapse between applying a fresh cement plaster or putty layer and painting.
Painted surfaces: clean the surface from loose and flaking paint, dirt and dust. Remove oil, bitumen and other contaminants. If necessary, degrease the surface with a 3-5% soda solution, rinse with water and dry. Smooth out unevenness, cracks and potholes with acrylic putty, prime with appropriate water-dispersion primer TM Eskaro or TM Aura. Surfaces painted with oil paint or enamel should be sanded with sandpaper until rough and cleaned of dust.
Application
When painting new or contrasting color bases, it is necessary to apply 1-2 layers of priming white interior paint (base A), which is tinted in a color as close as possible to the color of the finishing coating (TR base), so that as a result a complete overlap of the surface is achieved. It is recommended to use Aura Mattlatex paint or Aura Neolatex paint as a priming paint. Before applying the finishing paint (TR - base), the surface should have a uniform color without spots and "color transitions". This is necessary to increase the coverage of the tinted finishing coating (TR base). Aura Interior TR paint should only be used in tinted form (according to the Eskarocolor system). Mix Aura Interior TR paint thoroughly before use. Apply to a properly prepared surface with a roller, brush or spray in two layers. For saturated red, orange, yellow, light green colors, a 3rd layer may be required. When spraying under high pressure, use a 0.017" - 0.021" nozzle. It is recommended to carry out work at an ambient air and base temperature of +(20±2)ºС and a relative humidity of 65±5%. Do not apply paint at temperatures below +5ºС and above +30ºС. For painting large areas, it is recommended to use tinted paint from one production batch. If there are tinted paints from different production batches, it is recommended to mix them in one container beforehand. Care of the painted surface. It is recommended to clean the painted surface with a soft sponge or soft cloth using a warm detergent solution, avoiding rubbing. A freshly painted surface should be handled with care for 3-4 weeks. If it is necessary to clean the surface before this period, light cleaning with a soft damp cloth is recommended.
