Preparing the surface before painting
Unpainted surfaces. Clean the surface of loose material, peeling material, dirt, and dust. Completely remove chalk and lime whitewash. Level out unevenness, cracks, and potholes with acrylic putty. Surfaces prone to mold growth must be treated with Biotol (or Biotol spray) before painting. Prime unevenly absorbent surfaces with TM Eskaro or TM AURA water-dispersion primer.
Painted surfaces. Clean the surface of loose paint, peeling paint, dirt, and dust. If necessary, degrease the surface with a 3–5% solution of baking soda, rinse with water, and dry. Level out any unevenness, cracks, and potholes with acrylic putty. Surfaces previously painted with alkyd paint or enamel should be cleaned of flaking paint, sanded to roughness, and cleaned of any dust. Unevenly absorbent surfaces should be primed with TM Eskaro or TM AURA water-dispersion primer.
Application
Stir the paint before use. Apply with a roller, brush, or sprayer (including airless sprayers) in 1–2 coats. For high-pressure spraying, use a 0.017–0.021" nozzle. If necessary, for the first coat (priming), the paint can be diluted with water by no more than 10% by volume. Work should be carried out at an ambient and substrate temperature of +5 to +30 ºC. Apply the second coat of paint no earlier than 2 hours after applying the first coat.
