Surface preparation before painting
Unpainted surfaces. Clean the surface from loose, flaking material, dirt and dust. Chalk and lime whitewash should be completely removed. Level out unevenness, cracks and potholes with acrylic putty. Surfaces that are frequently wetted and prone to mold should be treated with Biotol (or Biotol Spray) before painting. Unevenly absorbent surfaces should be primed with water-dispersion primer TM Eskaro or TM AURA. In rooms with low operational load, AURA Luxpro 3 paint can be used for applying the first layer.
Painted surfaces. Clean the surface from loose, peeling paint, dirt and dust. If necessary, degrease the surface with a 3–5% solution of baking soda, rinse with water and dry. Smooth out unevenness, cracks and potholes with acrylic putty. Clean surfaces previously painted with alkyd (oil) paint or enamel from peeling coating, roughen with sandpaper and clean from dust. Prime unevenly absorbing surfaces with water-dispersion primer TM Eskaro or TM AURA.
Application
Stir the paint before use. Apply with a roller, brush or spray gun (including airless method) in 1–2 layers. For high-pressure spraying, use a 0.017" - 0.021" nozzle. If necessary, for applying the first (primer) layer, the paint can be diluted with water by no more than 10% by volume. Work should be carried out at ambient and base temperatures from +5ºС to +30ºС. The second layer of paint should be applied no earlier than 2 hours after applying the first.
Using the TR base: use the TR base (colorless) paint only in a tinted form (according to the Eskarocolor system). Before applying the TR base, paint the surface in 1 layer with AURA Luxpro 1 base A (white) paint, which is tinted in a lighter shade of the color of the finishing coating. Do not dilute the tinted TR paint base, apply 2 to 4 (for rich red and yellow colors, light green colors) layers. The number of layers depends on the color of the paint.
For painting large areas with tinted paint, it is recommended to use paint from one production batch. If you have tinted paint from different production batches, it is recommended to mix them in one container in advance.
Attention! The coating takes on its final color after the paint dries.
