Properties

Acrylic decorative enamel.

Forms a durable semi-matt coating with excellent decorative characteristics.
Has good wear resistance and elasticity.
Does not crack and does not turn yellow, withstands temperature and humidity extremes.
Resistant to repeated washing and cleaning with non-abrasive detergents.
No residual stickiness.
Dries quickly.
Has good adhesion to various types of surfaces, including old alkyd.
Tinted in pastel (base A), as well as in bright and saturated colors (base TR) according to the Eskarocolor system.
The coating acquires its final resistance to washing after 4 weeks.
Odorless.

Appointment

For decorative and protective painting of wooden and mineral, as well as primed metal surfaces. Not suitable for painting floors. Enamel with base TR is used only in tinted form.

Types of surfaces for application

Inside dry and wet rooms: New or previously painted (water-dispersible, alkyd, oil-phthalic paints) surfaces: wooden (window frames, doors, baseboards, decor elements, etc.), mineral (putty, plaster, concrete substrates, etc.) drywall. Primed or previously painted (water-soluble enamels, alkyd and oil-phthalic paints) metal surfaces. Well suited for painting window slopes, as well as primed or previously painted radiators and elements of heating systems. Outside: Wooden, mineral, primed metal surfaces.

Quality standards

1 class of wet scrub resistance according to EN 13300.
VOC content (volatile organic compounds) complies with European Union Directive 2004/42 / CE.

Surface preparation

The surface must be cleaned of exfoliating paint, dirt and dust, rust, grease, dry. Prime metal surfaces with a suitable primer. Surfaces previously painted with oil or alkyd paint, as well as shiny surfaces, are treated with sand paper to a dull finish. If necessary, surface irregularities should be filled and primed with appropriate materials. Prime new wood with a suitable primer and sand it with sandpaper. Mineral surfaces and GCR should be primed with a suitable primer.

Application

Mix enamel before use. Apply by brush, roller in 2-3 layers, spray (including airless method) in 3-4 layers. For spray application, the paint can be diluted with water to a working viscosity. Work should be carried out at a temperature of enamel, ambient air and base from +10 ºС to +25 ºС and relative humidity of air no more than 80%. The second (subsequent) layer of enamel is applied no earlier than 5 hours after applying the previous one. Do not apply enamel in direct sunlight, during fog, wind.
Features application of the base TR: Enamel Remix Aqua 30 base TR (colorless) should be used only in a tinted (according to the Eskarocolor system) form. To increase hiding power and reduce consumption, it is recommended that before applying Remix Aqua 30 base TR, the surface be painted in 1 coat with Remix Aqua 30 base A enamel (white), which is tinted in a lighter shade of the color of the finish. Attention! The coating gains its final strength 4 weeks after applying the enamel. The coating becomes final after the enamel has dried.

Tool cleaning

Rinse immediately with water. The dried enamel is cleaned mechanically.

Composition

Acrylic polymer dispersion, pigment - titanium dioxide (for base A), wax, special fillers, water, additives.

Colour	White (base A), colorless (base TR).
Tinting	Machine tinting according to the Eskarocolor system in pastel colors - base A, in bright and saturated colors - base TR. Manual tinting with Aura TM dyes - base A.
Consumption	On one layer: - when applied by brush (roller): 6-10 m² / l, - when applied by spray: up to 20 m² / l. To achieve maximum strength and hiding power of the enamel film, the total consumption of Remix Aqua 30 should be 3-5 m² / l (excluding the primer for the base enamel TR). Enamel consumption depends on the type and surface preparation, the color of the substrate, the color of the enamel.
Drying time	At a temperature of +20°C and relative humidity of 65%: from dust - 30 minutes, before applying the next coat - 5 hours, complete drying - 10 hours. At lower temperatures or higher humidity, the drying time increases.

Precautionary measures

When working, follow the general rules of occupational health. Work in a well-ventilated area, in work clothes, gloves. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water. Enamel is fire and explosion proof.

Disposal

Residues of dried enamel must be disposed of as household waste, polymer containers must be collected for recycling or disposal as household waste.
