Properties

Anticorrosive acrylic water-based enamel.

Acrylic water-based.
Odorless.
Ready to use.
Does not require advance priming.
It contains a rust converter and anti-corrosion components.
Can be applied to ferrous metals with remnants of tightly held rust with a thickness of up to 70 microns and scale.
Provides reliable protection against corrosion and weathering.

If the coating is damaged, rust is formed only on an unprotected surface, not spreading under the Remix Anticor membrane.

Purpose

For anticorrosive protection and decorative painting of ferrous metal surfaces (steel, cast iron), which are used in atmospheric conditions.
Attention! Remix Anticor enamel is not intended for painting galvanized surfaces.

Types of surfaces for drawing

Recommended for painting: forged products, garages, gates, fences, grilles, garden metal furniture, heating radiators, household building structures, etc. Remix Anticor can be used to protect industrial structures and equipment when operating in non-corrosive environments. For exterior and interior.

Surface preparation

The surface must be dry and durable. Before painting the metal surface must be mechanically cleaned from loose and fragile layer of rust and unstable scale, dirt, oil, grease, dust, etc. Remove the peeling paint from the previously painted surface. To degrease and dry the surface. Smooth surfaces to roughen.

Drawing

Stir before use. Apply with a brush, roller, spray gun. When applied with a brush, roller - do not dilute. When sprayed, if necessary, it can be diluted with water to no more than 5% by volume to a working viscosity. It is recommended to apply at a temperature of surface, primer-enamel, air + 18 ± 2 ºС and relative humidity of air 65 ± 5%. Do not apply at temperatures below + 5ºС and above + 30ºС.
To achieve consumer properties, Remix Anticor must be applied with interlayer drying 60 ± 10 minutes: in 2 layers for internal surfaces; in 3 layers for exterior surfaces.
To create a reliable protective coating, the thickness of the dry paint membrane should be:
- 80 microns for interior work (when applied in 2 layers with a flow rate of up to 9.5 m2 / l per layer);
- 120 microns for outdoor use (when applied in 3 layers with a flow rate of up to 9.5 m² / l per layer).

Care of the painted surface

Do not use abrasive detergents or hard sponges to clean the surface. If abraded, the surface may become glossy.

Cleaning tools

Immediately after work, rinse with warm water and detergent. When dry, clean mechanically or with organic solvents.

Composition

Acrylic dispersion, anticorrosive pigments, fillers, rust converters, water, special additives.

Colour	Ready colors according to the catalog: white, black (RAL 9011), dark gray (RAL 7043), red-brown (RAL 8012), dark brown (RAL 8017), blue (RAL 5005), green (RAL 6005), red (RAL 3016), yellow (RAL 1018).
Consumption	Up to 9.5 m²/l undiluted primer enamel per one coat. Consumption depends on the color, type and surface preparation, the color of the primer-enamel.
Drying time	At a temperature of + 20ºС and relative air humidity of 65%: 30 minutes from dust; 60 ± 10 minutes - applying the next layer; 24 hours - resistant to weathering; 20 days - a complete set of strength. Drying time depends on the temperature, relative humidity of the air, and the thickness of the paint film. With decrease in temperature and increase in humidity, the drying time increases.

Precautionary measures

During the work follow the general rules of occupational health. The material is eco-friendly, fire and explosion safe. Keep out of reach of children. Work in a ventilated area. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse with water. Rubber gloves should be used to protect hands; eye glasses should be used, and a respirator should be used when painting with a paint sprayer. Do not breathe mist when spraying.

Recycling

Do not pour into drains, water bodies, on the ground. Dispose of dry product and container as household waste.
