Properties

Acrylic enamel for radiators.
  • Water-base gloss enamel.
  • Withstands temperatures up to + 120 ° C dry heat.
  • Maintains high whiteness, wear resistance and elasticity.
  • Forms a durable coating, resistant to repeated washing (1 wear resistance class according to DIN EN 13300).
  • Does not soften under the influence of elevated temperatures.
  • Dries quickly.
  • Contains instant corrosion inhibitor.
  • Good adhesion to various types of surfaces, including old alkyd.
  • The coating acquires its final resistance to washing after 4 weeks.

Appointment

For decorative and protective painting of primed or previously painted radiators and elements of heating systems. It is recommended for painting primed or previously painted metal surfaces, as well as wooden, mineral surfaces and drywall in dry and wet rooms. Well suited for painting window slopes.

Types of surfaces for application

Primed or previously painted metal radiators and elements of heating systems. Other metal surfaces, primed or previously painted with water-dispersive, alkyd or phthalic oil paints. Wooden surfaces: lining, cladding boards, chipboard, etc. Mineral surfaces: putty, plaster, concrete substrates, etc. Drywall, fiberboard, wallpaper for painting.

Quality standards

  • 1 class of wear resistance according to DIN EN 13300
  • VOC content (volatile organic compounds) complies with European Union Directive 2004/42 / CE.

Surface preparation

The surface must be cleaned of flaking paint, dirt and dust, degreased, dry. Metal surfaces
must be primed with a suitable primer. Surfaces previously painted with oil or alkyd paint
should be treated with emery paper to a dull finish. If necessary, surface irregularities should
be filled and primed with appropriate materials. Prime new wood with a suitable primer and
sand it with sandpaper.

Application

Mix enamel before use. Apply by brush, roller or spray (including airless method) in 2 layers.
If necessary, for applying the first (primer) layer, the enamel can be diluted with water no
more than 5% by volume. Work should be carried out at an ambient temperature of at least + 5ºС. Coloring of warm (up to + 45 ° С) radiators is allowed. Apply the second layer of enamel no earlier than 2 hours after applying the first.
Attention! The coating gains final strength (resistance to wet abrasion) 4 weeks after
applying enamel. The coating becomes final after the enamel has dried.

Brush, roller, spray.

Tool cleaning

Rinse immediately with water. The dried enamel is cleaned mechanically.


Composition

Acrylic polymer dispersion, pigments, special fillers, water, additives.

Colour

 White (Base A).

Tinting

 Machine tinting according to the Eskarocolor system - more than 8,000 shades in pastel
(base A) tones. Manual tinting with TM Aura pigment pastes.

Consumption

 6-10 m² / l per layer. Enamel consumption depends on the type and preparation of the
surface.

Drying time

 30 minutes from dust. The next layer can be applied after 2 hours at a temperature of + 20°C
and relative humidity of 65%. Drying time accordingly increases at a temperature below +20°C.

Precautionary measures

When working, follow the general rules of occupational health. Work in a well-ventilated
area, in work clothes, gloves. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of contact with eyes,
rinse with water. Enamel is fire and explosion proof.

Disposal

Residues of dried enamel must be disposed of as household waste, polymer containers
must be collected for recycling or disposal as household waste.

 24 months from the date indicated on the package

Frost resistance

 Do not freeze.

Density

Storage conditions

 To store and transport in undamaged original hermetically sealed packaging at a
temperature from + 5ºС to + 35ºС. Do not expose to freezing and direct sunlight.
