Surface preparation before painting

The surface to be painted must be degreased, cleaned from dirt and dry. Clean previously painted surfaces from peeling paint; sandpaper glossy surfaces until they are matt. Fill dents with putty. If necessary, pre-treat metal surfaces with anticorrosive primer first. Pre-treat wood chipboard, wood fibre board and other porous surfaces with suitable primer or paint diluted with white spirit (up to 10% of the paint volume).

Application

Do not stir except for the tinting process. Apply 1-2 coats at the temperature between +5°C and 25°C and relative humidity not exceeding 80%. Time the painting so that the treated surface can dry before the evening dew falls. Do not perform the application in direct sunlight, when the weather is too cold, in the rain or fog.

Care for the painted surface

The coating reaches its peak hardness and wash resistance in about 7 days; in the meantime, treat the surface with care. If cleaning is necessary, the surface can be lightly wiped with a soft sponge or cloth during this period. We recommend using water and neutral or medium alkaline detergents (pH below 9) for cleaning. Thoroughly wash the surface with clean water and dry it after cleaning.

Safety precautions

Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Contains Butan-2-one oxime, cobalt bis(2-ethylhexanoate). May produce an allergic reaction. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Keep out of reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.

Waste treatment

Avoid release to the environment. Dispose of the contents/containers in accordance with the current legislation on waste treatment.
