Properties
Gloss alkyd enamel for interior and exterior use.
  • Created using  “WA new technologies”
  • Contains an opalescent polymer for better opacity.
  • Spreads over the surface well, creating an ideally smooth semi-matt coating. 
  • High colour and gloss stability.
  • Has weak odour due to the use of highly purified White-spirit.
  • Forms a hard coating
  • The surface is resistant to exposure to mild solvents (for example, White Spirit).

Maximum permissible EU VOC content for this product (subcat. d): 300g/L; maximum VOC content in the product <300g/L.

Purpose

For painting doors, window frames, furniture parts, radiators, fences, gratings and garages; both interior and exterior use.

  • Inside Special Opague Polymers : the use of opalescent polymers in in alkyd paints; pigments are distributed evenly around the polymers, which improves coverage 
  • ISO 2813 [Paints and varnishes -- Determination of specular gloss of non-metallic paint films at 20 degrees, 60 degrees and 85 degrees] – techniques for measuring gloss and wear resistance parameters.
  • VOC (volatile organic compounds) – content in accordance with the European Union directive 2004/42/CE. 
  • Product and service quality is guaranteed by the quality, environmental protection, occupational health and safety management system in accordance with standards ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007. 


Surface preparation before painting

The surface to be painted must be degreased, cleaned from dirt and dry.  Clean previously painted surfaces from peeling paint; sandpaper glossy surfaces until they are matt. Fill dents with putty. If necessary, pre-treat metal surfaces with anticorrosive primer first. 
Pre-treat wood chipboard, wood fibre board and other porous surfaces with suitable primer or paint diluted with white spirit (up to 10% of the paint volume).

Application

Stir the paint thoroughly before application. Apply 1-2 coats at the temperature between 10 °C and 25 °C and relative humidity not exceeding 80%. Time the painting process so that the treated surface can dry before the evening dew falls. Do not perform the application in direct sunlight, when the weather is too cold, in the rain or fog.

Care for the painted surface

The coating reaches its peak hardness and wash resistance in about 7 days; in the meantime, treat the surface with care. If cleaning is necessary, the surface can be lightly wiped with a soft sponge or cloth during this period. We recommend using water and neutral or medium alkaline detergents (pH below 9) for cleaning. Thoroughly wash the surface with clean water and dry it after cleaning.

Tools

Brush, Roller (pile length: 10-14 mm), airless spray gun (nozzle: 0.021–0.027'').

Tool cleaning

Clean the tools with white spirit after completing work.

Machine tinting according to the Eskarocolor system (bases А).

Consumption

 Consumption 8-10 m²/L.

Drying time

The surface is not sticky in about 5 hours; ready for another coat to be applied in 24 hours at the temperature of +20 °C and the relative humidity of 50%.

Storage conditions

Store and transport in a tightly closed container at the temperature between +5°С and +30°С. Protect from exposure to freezing and direct sunlight.
